App is pretty good. However theres no way to change the ports. Seems like it always default to 80.

In the first i got very glad to have sound on my phone. But like mxeasy the sound quality is poor and goes on and off. You must give the priority to the audio until the video! Plus sometimes i change my location in diffrent countries i must enter the ip & ... From the bigening until it works. Plus seems having trouble with 3g.

Have a iPad running iOS 5.1.1. Updated mobotix from the previous version which worked fine to Sept 26 v1.2.0. The latest version crashes. How can I get back the older version?

I am disappointed with Mobotix. This app is not user friendly. I have 6 Mobotix cameras. The app freezes up and doesnt work with my iPad. Qcampro is a much better app for Mobotix cameras!

When changing networks e.g. (From mobile to wifi) The app cant connect to the camera. also cant access the cameras from a different device once a connection has already been established on a different device. (Exiting the app does not fix the issue)

Keeps dropping connection to cameras or cant even connect. Go to the website on your ph and it works. Just never reliable on the ph. This app has made me look bad so many times in front of customers that I can not support this company. On top of that, there is no easy tech support help!! What kind of company says we wont have a tech support department or make it easy for dealers to get help making there product work the way they showed us it would.

This is the most sorry of Apps. Mobotix feature high end cameras and technology. You would think that their ipad/iphone interface would shine. It does not.It It is easier to go to the door and look than use this app to view my mobotix door station. This app is counterintuitive to use, can only view one camera and repeatedly crashes. The most recent update was yet another disappointment. It is easy to access the cameras online, but not with this app. Come on mobotix.

Great feature set, but if I use it to alert me when my doorbell rings, I loose a third of my battery (iOS 8 confirmed in per-app usage report)

This is quite possibly one of the worst apps Ive ever used. Confusing doesnt even begin to explain it! Sad, such promising capabilities included with the camera hardware. But whats the point if you cant understand how to get at that functionality because of the horribly designed software. Its like the Mobotix software designers have never used an iPhone app. Im not a hater. I really wanted to like the Mobotix Q series cameras. But with software this bad, it really makes me wonder if the hardware is that well thought out. I dont have much confidence that all the fancy features will ever work reliably (assuming I can ever figure out how to setup or use any of those features). I just dont understand how a company could produce such a terrible user interface. If anyone at Mobotix reads this review, please take just a second to ponder this question; Do you know what INTUITIVE even means? The Mobotix software requires hours with the manual to even begin to understand! I suggest anyone (like me) who has made the mistake of buying the Mobotix cameras, to immediately start the search for better software from a 3rd party or simply return the cameras.

The UI is a disaster. There is no background push notifications and Mobotix said they have no plans of offering push notifications.

Like Mobotix cameras, this app is full of awesome features, but to appreciate every detail, you MUST read the instructions. These are available from the Mobotix website. If you just start playing with the app, you are likely to become frustrated. Every time I thought I found a glitch in the app, once I read that section of the user manual, I realized how I was doing it wrong and appreciated the subtleties and functionality of the app. Did you know in the Player mode you could slowly search down to the second depending on how close your finger was to the search button? The farther away from the button you drag your finger, the more accurate the search. Thats on Page 12 of the manual. Dont give up on this excellent app because you havent really tried to understand it. Those German engineers put a lot of thought into it and it is almost as comprehensive as is their cameras. I have 8 of their cameras installed in my house and couldnt be happier with their technology.

I have had several camera systems and by far this is the fastest and clearest response Ive had from an app. Especially with the iphone 6 display, very impressive. Love it!

I have been installing the mobotix cams now for the past few years. The system is Rock solid however it has a steep learning curve. This app is the same way. It is not easy to use and i need to provide a instruction manual to my customers. Most of my customers have complained that it is too difficult and unlike the iPad or iPhone it is hard to navigate and figure out the basics. I have to agree with my customers and say it is very difficult to understand.

I have two say that after reading some of the reviews, I was skeptical about how this was going to work. Well I can confidently say that the negative reviews are not fully informed or not familiar with Mobotix cameras/software. I found the app easy to setup 12 cameras in about 20 minutes. All are on a remote client site. The app and connection to the images was snappy and responsive, even in original quality mode. Playback from onboard camera microSD card was easy and fast - good responsiveness. Are some of the setup and control functions a little different than other generic apps, yes. But If youre familiar with Mobotix, you wont be disappointed. Im very pleased.

So far.. Waited months for installation, once installed... A HUGE mistake & disappointment. Never works!

This is a German made product and is engineered pretty well. However, the software designers for both the product and the mobile app leave much to be desired. It isnt that it doesnt work, its that it so unintuitive you have to spend quite a bit of time and effort to do the basic things that should just be able to be figured out. For example, you miss a "call" and what to see the video recording, which would be a very common function, is not intuitive at all you have to figure out and play the video from some time point that you have to locate... crazy! Further, when engaging the company they view customer service as an annoyance something that you as the customer are "lucky" to be receiving any problems you might have with them then its probably "better" that you find another product... again crazy! So well made, lousy software, but that is not to say it is not capable software in terms of functions if you can ever get it configured, working and using it correctly, not to mention the ridiculous training curve required for staff. If there is another product that does the job with much better UI and customer service I would recommend you go in that direction... if this does what you need and you cant find anything else that does...well then be ready to roll up your sleeves and require the patience of the gods to deal with support. We have found that on some iPhone installs the mobile client wont reconnect and the app has to be deleted and reconnected - pain
