just today an update 1.3 for the mx manager on OS mac. I hope there will be an update for the ios app. So the " deutsche qualitat" will be true....

Hi I am mobotix customer , when you will release update for this application ???!!!

The app works to view your cameras but thats about all it does. Mobotix knows very well the app is flawed and ignores the problem after we spend $1500 on the camera and sell to customers and then they ask US for a refund! The app does NOT properly ring when the T25 bell button is pushed, it will only ring if the app is closed and re-opened and quits ringing shortly after, it doesnt matter what version of iOS or on whatever iDevice, the software is seriously buggy. Mobotix the very least you could do is fix this for those of us who invested in hardware you claim is superior, Ill admit I do like your hardware but you iOS code is written by amateurs it seems and they should stick to the KISS protocol instead of trying to be fancy at the expense of your customers. I have waited patiently for almost two years now along with customers and still no fix for the T25 alerts in iOS, you know its got nothing at all to do with Apple as other use notifications just fine. When the problem is truly fixed I will edit my review and give you the respect you deserve but until then you are being very disrespectful to your customers by ignoring this.

I agree with others, possibly the worse app ever. Great camera but poorly designed app, would not purchase again. You should not need to read the manual to be able to figure out basic app functions. I still dont know this stupid swipe thing, when you get stuck on playback. I have recordings over a year old but cannot seem to see what happened a day ago. Please fix this and get some beta testers that have not read the manual!

Is it the easiest app to learn? NO. Is it probably the best app I have used for security cameras? YES! Ive got NUUO and BOSCH systems and they dont come close. We have 48 cameras at 8 different locations and this system handles it with ease. Also there is such easy access to playback features it just makes it a very powerful app. Most difficult thing to learn is that the app recognizes different environments. Every different wifi your device connects to it will use default settings. This may or may not allow you to view the cameras. This means for each environment including cell you will need to toggle if it is remote or local. SSL on or off and if the camera is active or not, and this is for each camera. After that your device will remember the environment. Other then that the app is relatively easy to learn and far superior to others. For me this app is great. Good job MOBOTIX.

This product has not been updated for years! It does not support push notifications! The app must be manually opened and left running in the background for it to work, which is useless!

IMPORTANT NOTE - After installing the App, go to your settings and disable cellular data usage unless you have unlimited data. I was faced with a 14 gig data usage bill after 15 days with 12 cameras constantly connected. - the app is also very memory intensive. Make sure your phone has the RAM Im happy to see the official Mobotix App is finally launched. Even happier you took the time to ensure it was up to the Mobotix standards of quality and functionality. It was well worth the wait. I accidentally activated it and was sent notifications everytime there was motion. Awesome feature. - I really like the help tips and the slider between live playback and events. I cant wait to upgrade the camera firmware to unlock the added features. In 20 plus years in the security industry, I have NEVER found a product which I am as proud to represent as I am of Mobotix.

Takes too long to load cameras. And I have to delete and reload to get it to work properly each time. Faster to just check website and log on.

A bit complex, not easy to use the first time, but very well made and full of functions. My suggest for developer: simplify a bit!

One of the most terrible app ive never seen: unusables interface (its a touch device!!!) and features! Amazing!

The lastest version doesnt work. When the doorbell is pressed The calling is not forwarded!!!

Ive been trying to configure the app with my Mobotix cams, but it has been impossible for me to escape from the demo postman mode! Even kill and reopen the app didnt let me avoid the demo. What am I missing?

I confirm, impossible to use it. Impossible to exit from demo mode. Another suggestion: please modify icons on the top of the page... They are really too small!

This is welcome news. First impressions are that the app is packed with support for many of the features that you just cannot find in other apps. Like MXCC, it is more is a bit more sophisticated than the average surveillance app. @Peter - maybe they will make you the MX Easy equivalent App.

This app - long in waiting. It is not designed with the TOUCH interface in mind. The designer is using desktop metaphors. It is extremely unintuitive. The touch points are just too small. They need to get a real UX designer on the team and make some real improvements in order to make this useable.

Ive been using mobotix cameras for years. Went to many of their seminars, classes etc This app is not intuitive at all, and I cant get it to work most of the time. Qcampro is by far better.

So much potential. I can tell A LOT of brainstorming and development went into this app. It has so many features (awesome) but it needs a little work on the navigation. Im not going to say its completely counterintuitive, but its close. Mobotix: Tweak the UI for easier navigation and this app would be revolutionary. Youre so close to having a home run! Amazing work thus far. Keep it up!! Excited for updates.

Todays apps are simple. This app does not allow you to have multiple cameras or switch between them. If it is possible I could not find it. Instructions are poor. Concept is great and long waiting and is the correct direction but needs to be made easy to use which in turn attracts more users especially the less technical ones. Want to use it as corporate home system but with the difficulty of operator and home owner friendly app it will not happen yet.

This app has potential, but the buttons and controls are horribly laid out. I would rather the app focus on some simpler things and add features as they figure out where to put different buttons instead of the mish mash this one is.

Very well thought out and is very easy to use IF you know what you are doing. Maybe not for everyone but those looking for true VMS quality from iOS then this is your app.
