Usability Opinion - update

This is a German made product and is engineered pretty well. However, the software designers for both the product and the mobile app leave much to be desired. It isnt that it doesnt work, its that it so unintuitive you have to spend quite a bit of time and effort to do the basic things that should just be able to be figured out. For example, you miss a "call" and what to see the video recording, which would be a very common function, is not intuitive at all you have to figure out and play the video from some time point that you have to locate... crazy!

Further, when engaging the company they view customer service as an annoyance something that you as the customer are "lucky" to be receiving any problems you might have with them then its probably "better" that you find another product... again crazy!

So well made, lousy software, but that is not to say it is not capable software in terms of functions if you can ever get it configured, working and using it correctly, not to mention the ridiculous training curve required for staff.

If there is another product that does the job with much better UI and customer service I would recommend you go in that direction... if this does what you need and you cant find anything else that does...well then be ready to roll up your sleeves and require the patience of the gods to deal with support.

We have found that on some iPhone installs the mobile client wont reconnect and the app has to be deleted and reconnected - pain
