Mobile Remote Station For MOBOTIX IP Video Door Stations And IP Cameras
Owners of MOBOTIX IP Video Door Stations and MOBOTIX IP Cameras can now use this app on their iPad, iPad mini, iPad Pro, iPhone or iPod touch. The user interface of the App automatically adjusts to the screen size of the terminal device. The network connection is established via WiFi in a building or via 3G/4G while on the road - safely encrypted without the need for any other special devices.
Even if you dont have a MOBOTIX device yet (e.g., Door Station, camera), you can test the app using demo videos!
The app uses MOBOTIXs unique video system, which offers many advantages in addition to supplying a 180-degree image of the entire scene in front of the door (Hemispheric technology). What happened today while I was gone? Who rang the doorbell, and when? When and where did the video motion detection of my camera trigger? The app provides easy access to the event recordings of all connected cameras.
The app informs you automatically when someone rings the doorbell. You can open the door for the family, even though youre still stuck in traffic. Delivery men can use the intercom to ask you if they can leave their parcels with the neighbors. And if youre sitting in the backyard, just take your iPhone or iPad.

Besides people ringing the doorbell, the app also informs you of other alarm signals (e.g., from the integrated video motion detection of a MOBOTIX camera).

Notes
Connections in wireless networks (WiFi, 3G/4G) will not have the same quality everywhere and may even fail completely. Therefore it is not guaranteed that all events such as ringing will be transmitted in time. A er connection failure the MOBOTIX App tries to re-establish the connection automatically. However, with newer versions of the iOS operating system, the activities of apps have generally been restricted in the so-called background mode so that a signal notification cannot be guaranteed even under ideal network conditions. Therefore, MOBOTIX AG recommends in general the use of a wired counter station such as the MxDisplay +. Please refer to the MOBOTIX website for more information about this app. Please note that for older MOBOTIX IP cameras (Q22/D22/M22/D12/M12) only live image display with limited intercom (one way audio, push to talk) is supported.

Pros and cons of MOBOTIX app for iPhone and iPad
MOBOTIX app good for
Is it the easiest app to learn? NO. Is it probably the best app I have used for security cameras? YES! Ive got NUUO and BOSCH systems and they dont come close. We have 48 cameras at 8 different locations and this system handles it with ease. Also there is such easy access to playback features it just makes it a very powerful app. Most difficult thing to learn is that the app recognizes different environments. Every different wifi your device connects to it will use default settings. This may or may not allow you to view the cameras. This means for each environment including cell you will need to toggle if it is remote or local. SSL on or off and if the camera is active or not, and this is for each camera. After that your device will remember the environment. Other then that the app is relatively easy to learn and far superior to others. For me this app is great. Good job MOBOTIX.
IMPORTANT NOTE
- After installing the App, go to your settings and disable cellular data usage unless you have unlimited data. I was faced with a 14 gig data usage bill after 15 days with 12 cameras constantly connected.
- the app is also very memory intensive. Make sure your phone has the RAM
Im happy to see the official MOBOTIX App is finally launched. Even happier you took the time to ensure it was up to the MOBOTIX standards of quality and functionality. It was well worth the wait.

Just some suggestions for those who may be confused.
- you need to put : followed by the port number after the ip
- there is also a notification option. I accidentally activated it and was sent notifications everytime there was motion. Awesome feature.
- I really like the help tips and the slider between live playback and events.
I cant wait to upgrade the camera firmware to unlock the added features.
In 20 plus years in the security industry, I have NEVER found a product which I am as proud to represent as I am of MOBOTIX.
A bit complex, not easy to use the first time, but very well made and full of functions.
My suggest for developer: simplify a bit!

I am MOBOTIX customer , when you will release update for this application ???!!!
The app works to view your cameras but thats about all it does. MOBOTIX knows very well the app is flawed and ignores the problem after we spend $1500 on the camera and sell to customers and then they ask US for a refund!
The app does NOT properly ring when the T25 bell button is pushed, it will only ring if the app is closed and re-opened and quits ringing shortly after, it doesnt matter what version of iOS or on whatever iDevice, the software is seriously buggy.
MOBOTIX the very least you could do is fix this for those of us who invested in hardware you claim is superior, Ill admit I do like your hardware but you iOS code is written by amateurs it seems and they should stick to the KISS protocol instead of trying to be fancy at the expense of your customers.
I have waited patiently for almost two years now along with customers and still no fix for the T25 alerts in iOS, you know its got nothing at all to do with Apple as other use notifications just fine.
When the problem is truly fixed I will edit my review and give you the respect you deserve but until then you are being very disrespectful to your customers by ignoring this.
I agree with others, possibly the worse app ever. Great camera but poorly designed app, would not purchase again.
You should not need to read the manual to be able to figure out basic app functions. I still dont know this stupid swipe thing, when you get stuck on playback. I have recordings over a year old but cannot seem to see what happened a day ago. Please fix this and get some beta testers that have not read the manual!
This product has not been updated for years!
It does not support push notifications!
The app must be manually opened and left running in the background for it to work, which is useless!
Takes too long to load cameras. And I have to delete and reload to get it to work properly each time. Faster to just check website and log on.
One of the most terrible app ive never seen: unusables interface (its a touch device!!!) and features! Amazing!
